We are delighted to announce the annual George Street Festival Sevens Rugby Tournament to be held on July 30th, 2022 in St. John’s, Newfoundland at the Swilers Rugby Club. As always, this 7s tourney will coincide with George Street Festival. The annual festival has grown to become an iconic event in the St. John’s calendar for tourists and residents alike. Over 40,000 people come to have fun on the “biggest little street in North America” for 6 straight days.

The game of 7s is growing in popularity worldwide ever since its inclusion in the 2016 Rio Olympic Games. The GSF7s is the only tourney of its kind on the island of Newfoundland and is aiming to grow the sport of 7s . The past three GFS7s were each a huge success. We would love your support to help make this event an even larger success.

Platinum Sponsor - Upper Field

A Platinum Sponsor will entitle you to have the upper playing field named after your business for the duration of the tournament. All references to the upper field will include your business name, including signage, pamphlets, the scoreboards, announcements, and plenty more!
This sponsorship will also allow you to post any advertising banners at the club for that day along with social media advertising that will be done by us through this website, Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.

Platinum Sponsor - lower field

A Gold Sponsor will entitle you to have a Division Trophy named after your business. This trophy will be presented to the winning team of the corresponding division.
A plaque will be engraved with your business name for 2022 and will remain at Swilers Rugby Club for years to come.

SILVER Sponsor

A Silver sponsor will entitle you to have a kicking competition named after your business. The “Boot” award has been a trophy given to the best kicker of the day at each 7’s tournament. The men’s and women’s kicking competitions are to be held during the midday break.
