Social Div Costumes: Don't be Boring!

In the tradition of all 7s Tournaments this years GSF7s will feature a social division! Costumes are encouraged, in fact preferred. Be it tutus, full wedding gowns, blue man group body paint, The green Canucks guys, sumo suits: the only rule is there are no rules!

Actually there are a few rules:

  1. Safety is of primary concern. Anything hard or sharp that could cause an injury to any player is not allowed. This includes but is not limited to buckles, large zippers, cages, knives, throwing stars, etc.
  2. The match referee has the final say on a costume if it is deemed not safe.
  3. The Men's and Women's Premier and U18 divisions must wear proper rugby shorts and jerseys. Costumes are only for the Social Division.
  4. Any disputes about a costume interfering in play or causing missed tackles will not be tolerated. It's a social division, not the World Cup…
